"I started The Nile directory when I was 17, in 2018, as a simple Instagram blog. In 2021, after studying web design, I built it into a website. Soon after, I took on the challenge of building an app, teaching myself everything along the way—first creating an MVP, and ultimately launching the app on the App Store and Google Play as a multi-vendor marketplace. Last year, a few volunteer advisors and developers joined to offer guidance, and our first funders provided financial backing. Now, the vision is larger than I can carry alone, and I’m inviting the community to help sustain and grow it through this next chapter.
